The Internet Access

At our old house, Vidéotron was our ISP. Unfortunately, it is not available at our new rural home. They told us it would probably cost over 8 000 $ to bring the cable from our neighbour to us. So we switched to Starlink.

I took the 'Local Priority' package with the enterprise antenna. This allows us to have a public IPv4 static-ish address and use my own ER605 router without having to bypass Starlink's.

Also, since me and my mom work from home and thus need reliable Internet access, my mom also got herself a Rogers LTE/5G Wi-Fi modem as a backup.
